Substribe was founded by Steve Budd and Andy Burden. We’ve led our own businesses, been involved in transformations, have wide-ranging skills and capabilities etc. But what pulls us together is our knowledge and success around subscriptions and our passion for solving customer problems.
We met whilst partnering on a great subscription transformation success story – Procurement Leaders. In March 2018, we were drawn together once again, by the opportunity of combining our skills and capabilities to help subscription businesses better serve their customers and boost performance.
We spent three months on the streets (not literally, honest) drinking coffee with numerous experts, ex-bosses and colleagues to clarify our assumptions. A few whiteboard sessions later, we officially formed our company Substribe Ltd in July 2018 . In the short time since, we’ve acquired more than a dozen amazing customers and are really enjoying helping them build something special with their subscription and membership offerings.
Steve’s experience is far ranging across the b2b media spectrum with senior marketing & product roles at Emap, Incisive, Wilmington and Procurement Leaders. Steve occasionally revives his love of music and DJing by dusting off his decks and spinning some vinyl, even if it is just his kids listening. Learn more and connect with Steve on LinkedIn.
Andy’s experience came more from the b2b information space with senior commercial and corporate roles at Datamonitor, Informa, Clarion, IHS and Procurement Leaders. Andy is riding back on the boom of children’s books, by writing his own stories. He’s not hit the sales of David Walliams just yet. Learn more and connect with Andy on LinkedIn.
